CQ LEADING LADIES LUNCH
Hosted by Alison Sheppard and Cassie Brophy, the CQ Leading Ladies Lunch brings together a vibrant and diverse community of women, from business owners and entrepreneurs to community leaders and professionals for an afternoon of connection, conversation and inspiration.
Each luncheon is a space for shared stories and lived experiences. Guests hear from speakers who spark fresh ideas, engage in conversations that stretch perspectives, and feel uplifted by the encouragement that genuine connections bring. At its core, the CQ Leading Ladies Lunch is about building a strong, supportive community of women empowering women, a network that amplifies female voices in business and leadership and helps ensure their impact continues to grow across the region.
Breakfast Of Champions
Launched in 2021 and led by Graham “Shep” Sheppard and Alison Sheppard, Breakfast of Champions was created as a forum to bring together local business “champions” across Central Queensland. What began as a simple idea, breakfast with leaders and changemakers, has grown into a cornerstone event for the region’s business community.
Breakfast of Champions continues to grow, attracting small business owners, major industry representatives, and community leaders.
Breakfast of Champions showcases regional leaders from Tier 1 construction companies such as Fulton Hogan, Acciona, and Laing O’Rourke, alongside local mayors and council representatives, Coal Australia, Central Queensland business owners and their teams, entrepreneurs, and leading coaches in leadership and performance.
